Dear Jeff:
There is a real void at our family gatherings; but we all have our special memories. Thank you for this. We all miss you and love you so much.

Wow, how time doesn't sit still here. It is almost summer, your favorite time of the year. You were always excited for nice warm weather and all the fun things planned ahead on those nice warm days, if not boating with Randy to fort randal, pop and docs trips going and visiting family. We sure miss you. Close

Hey "Bill"  / Dawn Smith-Shook (Friend)

You have always held a very special place in my heart.  You were a God-send to the Woodbury County Communications Center and everyone you worked with!  Always cracking jokes and making everyone laugh but getting down to business when you had to.  You worked hard and played harder!  Even though we all miss you dearly we know that you are in good company where you are!  Rest well my friend and God speed.  Love, Dawn

Telecommunications honor  / Louise Keleher (co-worker/friend)

To all who knew Jeff:

Last night I had the honor of accepting an award on Jeff's behalf that was given by APCO  (Association of Public Safety Communications Officials)  He was nominated for Telecommunicator of The Year and since that award was given to another person for saving an infants life APCO felt he should be given an honor posthumusly for all his dedication to his profession.  His family was not able to attend so his Mom sent a letter in which I read to the group.  I wasn't sure if I could get through it without breaking down but I did.  I tried to remember Jeff always saying to start off with a joke to loosen up a crowd but my mind went blank.
His mom, Lois, sent a lovely letter thanking everyone for their show of support, compassion & loving kindness since Jeff's passing and wanted to thank everyone for this sincere tribute to Jeff.  I was honored as well to have been there to accept this award.  I turned the award over to Mark Van Hooser who will pass it on to Lois and Jeff's family.  We all love him & miss him every single day.  Kudos to Jeff!

I first "met" or actually noticed Jeff while I was still a college student in Storm Lake.  (He hated it when I reminded him of this, by the way).  ANYWAY one night while I was at Bo's there was a crazy man dancing on the speakers.  I thought nothing of it until I later was hired by the SLPD and he was a dispatcher.  THE CRAZY
MAN WAS JEFF FELDICK!!
My next beer will be in your honor. Close
